4.Asorpion:Asorpion takes place in the jejenum and the ileum of the small intestine during.Asorpion ,the nutrients formed during digestion pass into the bloodstream.

Digestive system:
Digestion is part of nutrition turns food into the nutrients the bodyes needs.This organs are use in digestion .
The mouth,the phrarynx,the esophagus,the stomach,the small intestine,the large intestine,the liver and
theanus.The organs of the digestive system separate the nutrients from the wate substance.The body uses this nutrients for its vital function.
-Digestive begains in the mouth ,the long togue and teeth are inside the mouth.Saliva is made inside the mouth.
-Food passes through tubes colld the pharynx and the esophagus .Food passes from the mouth to the pharynx,from to the esopagus to the stomach.
-The stomach is a sac - like organ .The opening to the stomach is colled .The cardia and the exit is colled the pyrolus.
-The small intestine :Is tube leadingfrom the stomach it is divided in to tree parts.
*The deodenum:Is the part closest to the stomach .
*The jejunum:Is the next part.
*The ileum:Is the last part .
The large intestine:Is another tube .It comes after the small intestine .It also have tree parts:the cecum ,the colon and the rectum .The anus is at the end of the rectum .
Digestion:
Food goes through many changes in digestive system .Some of this changes are due to juices.The juices are produced in the digestive organs.
Example :Bile from the liver break down fats .
Other changes result from the movements of these organs .
Example :Stomach movements mix food with gastric juices.
1. Chewing :Chewing crushes food in the mouth . The process uses the teeth the
tongue and saliva .The salivary glands make saliva.Chewing initiates the digestive process.
2. Digestion in the stomach :Food mixes with the gastric juices in the stomach to produce chyme .The movements of the stomach and the gastric juices break down the food into simpler substances .
3.Digestion in the small intestine :The chyme passes from stomach to the small intestine.Chyme mixes with intestinal juices ,pancreatic juices and bile in the small intestine.The intestine produces intestinal juices .The pancreas produces pancreatic juices ,the liver produces bile.
These juices and the movements of the small intestine break down food and form chyle
